How do I get commission?
ARC-accredited travel agents, Corporate Travel Departments (CTD), and Verified Travel Consultants (VTC) can earn commission for the sale of destination activities, prepaid travel cards, car rentals, and bus tickets when purchased through ARC MarketPlace.

Activities - Commissions

• Enter a valid ARC Number when prompted on the payment screen during the booking process.
• You will receive 6% commission for all activities/excursions purchased online through ARC MarketPlace.
• Commissions are compiled monthly and payments are distributed within 45 days after your client’s travel date.
• Commission payments will be via a credit memo in ARC Memo Manager (free registration required) under Carrier Code 889 with Supplier Code MKT1. After accepting the memo, you will settle it with your weekly IAR sales report. To view and accept commissions:
  • ARC will issue a credit memo for your commission payment.
  • Registered Memo Manager primary administrators will be sent a daily email* when they receive new memos in Memo Manager (*Note: This email option has to be enabled in Memo Manager by selecting the activate check box in the Entity Settings section by Notification Mail.)
  • Login to Memo Manager to review your memos.
  • Accept the memo in Memo Manager by selecting the “Pay” button for that memo.
  • Memo Manager will automatically update your IAR sales report with the relevant memo information.
  • Agencies who have not already registered for ARC Memo Manager should do so by visiting ARC’s corporate Web page and clicking on “Memo Manager” in the toolbox on the left. Then click on "Not enrolled? Register Now".

Cars - Commissions

• Enter a valid ARC Number when prompted on the payment screen during the booking process.
• Commission is 35% of the deposit amount for the booking of each car rental made online through ARC MarketPlace.
• Commissions are compiled monthly and payments are distributed within 45 days after your client’s car rental pick up date.
• Commission payments will be via a credit memo in ARC Memo Manager (free registration required) under Carrier Code 889 with Supplier Code CAR1. After accepting the memo, you will settle it with your weekly IAR sales report. To view and accept commissions:
  • ARC will issue a credit memo for your commission payment.

Greyhound Bus Tickets - Commissions

• Available for sale at a commissionable rate.
• Sales transactions must be issued on an automated MCO through your GDS and processed through ARC using carrier code 889.
• For Greyhound sales, commission is paid up front in your IAR report.
• Commission for Greyhound sales is 10%.

ARC Travel Card – Commissions

• Commissions are paid by credit memo on the ARC Memo Manager system. You will be able to identify the ARC Travel Card in Memo Manager by Carrier Code 889 and Supplier Code MCTC. Once you accept your credit memo, it will feed into IAR.

How much commission do I get?
There is no limit to the amount of commission you can earn through ARC MarketPlace – the more you sell the more you earn!

Note: ARC reserves the right to recall commissions due to exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and unforeseen trip interruptions.

In addition to the commissions you earn on bookings made through ARC MarketPlace, the ARC Travel Agency Service Fee (TASF) Program provides you, an ARC-accredited travel professional, with the opportunity to assess your clients a fee for professional travel services rendered.

How do I become ARC-accredited?
You can become an ARC participating agency in three ways tailored to your type of business. All three earn commissions through ARC MarketPlace.
