Commission Payment and Rates

Travel agents can earn commission for the sale of destination activities, car rentals, passport and visa expediting services, and Greyhound bus tickets when booked through ARC MarketPlace.

Get an ARC number or ARC MarketPlace ID.

To receive commission from ARC MarketPlace you must have either an ARC number or an ARC MarketPlace ID.

ARC numbers are given to ARC participating travel agencies and corporate travel departments, which gain access to ARC tools and resources including ARC MarketPlace.

If you are not an ARC participating travel agency, register for an ARC MarketPlace ID. All agents in the same agency should use the same ID. Please do not register multiple times. If you forget your ARC MarketPlace ID, please contact us.

Commission Payment Schedule and Rates

In order to get paid, print and complete the ARC MarketPlace Commission Payment Financial Information Form and fax it to +1 703.816.8195.

You'll be paid in the month following the travel or sale date, as specified by the product. Commission payment schedule and rates are the same for purchases made through ARC MarketPlace and the ARC MarketPlace Affiliate Program. Commissions are paid in U.S. dollars. Taxes are your sole responsibility.

Commissions, including incentive and bonus payouts, are subject to change at any time.

Volume-Based Bonus Commission Program

ARC participating agents can earn additional commission with the volume-based bonus commission program. To participate in the program, continue to book as usual. At the end of each quarter you'll be rewarded based on the commission tier you've reached. No additional application or sign-up is required. This payout is in addition to payouts for sales transactions made through ARC MarketPlace, is paid out based on sales during that particular quarter, and will be net of refunds and adjustments. Commissions are paid via credit memo in ARC Memo Manager or via direct deposit into your agency's IAR bank account in the month following the end of the quarter.

Quarterly sales under $451.00 are not eligible for quarterly bonus commission payments. Commissions, including - but not limited to - monthly and quarterly incentive/bonus payouts, are subject to change at any time.

Commission Payment Method

Commission payment method depends on whether you are an ARC participating agency, have an ARC MarketPlace ID, and whether you are based in the United States.

ARC MarketPlace commission payments earned will be paid to the travel agency associated with the ARC number or ARC MarketPlace ID input at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the purchasing travel agent to enter the correct ARC number or ARC MarketPlace ID when purchasing through ARC MarketPlace in order to get paid commission. Failure to do so shall result in the immediate forfeiture of any earned commissions.

*ARC participating travel agents have 90 days from the time credit memos are loaded into ARC Memo Manager to claim commission payments. After 90 days, credit memos in AMM will go inactive and the agents' commission payments are forfeited. Effective the 91st day, the credit memos will be closed and the agents' commission payments are forfeited.

**In order to facilitate commission payment, non-ARC participating agencies must register their organization's contact and banking account information with ARC. The user shall provide ARC with current contact information, bank account information including routing number, and the user's federal tax ID or social security number. Failure to provide this information shall result in the immediate forfeiture of any earned commissions.

***Non-U.S. based ARC MarketPlace ID users that get paid commission by paper check have 90 days to cash the check. After 90 days the check is void and commissions earned will be forfeited.

Direct Deposit Commission Payment Option for ARC-Accredited Travel Agencies

To receive ARC MarketPlace commissions via direct deposit into your IAR bank account, please complete the Commission Payment via Direct Deposit Form.

Any unclaimed ARC MarketPlace commission payment credit memos that your agency currently has in ARC Memo Manager will be included with your first direct deposit.
